Every year we invite new artists to Rutland to live, explore, and make art. Generous corporate sponsorships help us bring innovative artists to the Rutland Community.

Corporate sponsorship will help defray costs related to this program and support an organization that plays an important role in the Rutland community by fostering innumerable interactions between artists and Rutlanders, whether through open studio visits, impromptu encounters on the street and at local businesses, or our famous “lunch angels” program wherein community members volunteer to provide a sit-down lunch for visiting artists – all of which cultivate a more vibrant and closely-knit Rutland community.

77ART is a 501c3 non profit visual arts organization based in Rutland, Vermont. 77ART was created to foster a symbiotic relationship between the Rutland region and professional artists around the world, for the betterment of both. 77ART believes that a strong community is one that cares about its culture and builds connections among its people. 77ART currently operates an Artist Residency program, free educational and community art events, and runs exhibits, all based in Rutland. To date, 77ART has hosted over 70 artists from around the world for month long residencies and hosted close to 40 public educational events. Our exhibition calendar has kept art in the eye and mind of our community over the years and we have ongoing partnerships with The MINT Makerspace, Burlington City Arts, and The Vermont Arts Council, among others.
